Bekah possesses a deep enthusiasm for pickleball, actively participating in tournaments and fostering connections within the pickleball community. Her commitment is evident in her efforts to teach newcomers, coordinate local matches, and devise strategies for upcoming competitions.
Bekah infuses every facet of pickleball with her vibrant energy, enthusiasm, and unwavering dedication. Her goal is to unite the community through pickleball, facilitating unique team-building experiences.
She has effectively expanded pickleball communities to over 1,000 members and has developed distinctive team-building activities for organizations such as Qualcomm. The passion and vitality she brings to the events she organises are palpable.
Additionally, she has successfully established weekly team games that consistently attract loyal participants, who leave each session feeling fulfilled both in their sport and within the community
Originally from South Africa, Tony traveled over to the United States in 1991 to play college soccer in Fort Lauderdale. As a competitive athlete and always looking for a new challenges, Tony discovered pickleball nearly 5 years ago. Little did he know that this sport would consume him with its addictive fun skillset and set him off in an unimaginable direction.
His love for the game is second to none and he thoroughly enjoys coaching and playing competitively.
Asked what he loved most about pickleball he responded quite simply with a grin….“What other sport can you laugh at each other when a point is won or lost? Only pickleball!”
Tony lives in Mtunzini with his girlfriend Bekah and Luna the infamous Staffy. He has two sons Regan and Durban who currently live in San Diego. In his free time you will find him playing soccer, flying or traveling anywhere he can.
