Pickleball and Padel are both fast-paced racket sports, but they have key differences:

• Court & Walls: Pickleball is played on a smaller, open court (similar to a badminton court) with no walls, while Padel is played in an enclosed court with glass and mesh walls, allowing for ball rebounds.
• Equipment: Pickleball uses a perforated plastic ball and solid paddles, whereas Padel uses a depressurized tennis ball and a perforated, foam-core paddle.
• Scoring & Playstyle: Pickleball follows a scoring system similar to badminton (up to 11 points, win by 2), while Padel follows traditional tennis scoring. Padel emphasizes wall play and extended rallies, while Pickleball focuses on quick reflexes and net play.

Both are easy to learn and social, but Padel has more in common with tennis, while Pickleball is a blend of badminton, tennis, and table tennis.

Open play is a fun way to get to play with new people in a fun or competitive environment.

• Winners keep court and losers get to challenge again or move to another court.
• Challenge at your skill level
• You must accept all challenges.
• If a solo paddle challenges, one player from the losing team must pair with the solo challenger.
• Be respectful and kind. DON’T BE A DINK!!
• Shirts and athletic shoes must be worn at all times.
• No coaching during open play.
• Open play is limited to 24 people.
